Romney’s In-Game Ad Campaign, Not as Effective as Obama’s

For those of you that don’t know, both Barack Obama and Mitt Romney ran in-game advertising campaigns for this year’s election race.

This year marks the second time that Obama has taken to in-game advertising, as he previously ran a large campaign back in 2008, which made international headlines. This year’s in-game ad campaign has also seen major headlines for Obama, in leading online publications such as Kotaku, Venturebeat, and G4TV among others.

On the otherhand, Romney’s in-game advertising efforts have gone virtually unnoticed. This is quite a failure, and signifies poor performance for both the advertising and PR teams representing the Romney campaign.

Is it surprising though? Not really..

Obama has a history of breaking grounds, whether it be health care, women’s rights, becoming the first african-american president, and now we can add in-game advertising to the list.
